Approaches to Learning

The approaches suggested below indicate a range of strategies that may be undertaken to allow students to engage with the requirements of this part of the syllabus. Teachers may wish to use one or more of these approaches in addressing this area of study. The suggestions are intended as a guide only and are not exhaustive.

  • Use cartoon frames to identify and highlight significant events in the life of the Prophet Muhammad
  • Use a writing task to compile paragraphs which identify and explain the significance of principal events in the life of the Prophet Muhammad.
  • Use a group work process to present dramatisations of significant events from the life of the Prophet Muhammad
  • Prepare a visual representation (diagram, table, chart etc) of significant events in the life of the Prophet Muhammad
